Description

ThecusShare allows users to access their NAS over a local or remote network and download or stream multimedia files to and upload pictures from their iOS or Android mobile devices

NOTES

  • ThecusShare requires Thecus firmware version 5.00.02 or higher.
  • ThecusShare requires TwonkyMedia version 5.1.7 (download it here or through Auto Module Installation in the UI)
  • Bonjour must be activated on the target NAS for auto NAS detection on a local network. 4. On a local or remote network, NAS can be discovered by manually inputting their IP addresses.

Description

Thecus Dashboard allows users to log in to their NAS over a local or remote network and view the status of their NAS as well as control a number of administrative functions from their iOS or Android mobile devices. This includes turning on and off protocols and adjusting user privileges.

NOTES

  • The Thecus Dashboard requires Thecus firmware version 3.0 or higher.
  • Bonjour must be activated on the target NAS for auto NAS detection on a local network.

Thecus-DiskTM

Description

Thecus-DiskTM is an innovative mobile device that allows users the flexibility to browse, manage and change files on-the-go. A main element of Thecus-DiskTM is the use of deep download feature, now users can have files sent to their mobile device while offline. For iTunes users, the use of “File Sharing” feature allows transfer files to or from a computer or another iOS device.

  • Requires corresponding module on NAS in order to use Thecus-DiskTM (download it here or through Auto Module Installation in the UI)
  • Thecus-DiskTM requires firmware version v2.01.01 or above to work this module.
  • Currently 64-bit version is available but precise 32-bit will be available soon.
