“The N2560 is an excellent entry to mid level home/SOHO NAS”

10/28/2013 Not to be confused with Call Of Duty, US hardware review site Computing on Demand released their review of the 2-bay N2560 and concluded that “the N2560 is an excellent entry to mid level home/SOHO NAS.”

A Class of Its Own

What one often first notices about the N2560 is its departure from the aesthetics generally associated with NAS. Gentler angles, a white-gloss finish, and a petite stature have indeed become the calling-cards of Thecus® 2-bay NAS since the N2520 was released earlier this year. Computing on Demand appreciated these tweaks in appearance, and noted that such improvements actually allow “you to display your NAS with pride, instead of hiding it under your desk or behind your TV stand.” And when it came to what lay behind the polished exterior, Computing on Demand found that “when compared to other 2bay NAS we have reviewed, the N2650 performs near the top.” This impressive display, along with the integrated HDMI port, outstanding Intel® Atom™ SoC processor and additional free apps, make the Thecus® N2560 a good option for those looking to break into the world of network storage with a twist.”

Thanks to Joe and the rest of the Computing on Demand team for the review.
