“The Thecus N2520 is pulling our iTrends grading scale to 90 points”
Bookmark and Share

09/17/2013-The Danish website iTrends has put the N2520 to the test and awarded it an excellent 90 points.

In their review, iTrends were impressed by and happy with the N2520's processor. Unlike most smaller devices, Thecus's device boasts a pleasantly fast Atom processor. “This solution can shine with a pleasant performance and all tasks and operations are handled quickly and painlessly through their heavily updated interface.”

The N2520 is meant to be placed in the user's living room. Not only does it have the necessary sleek design, but the low noise level truly helps justify its place there. “You can still hear the NAS server a little bit depending on the hard drives installed, but it's nothing at all. It can be drowned out by ordinary, everyday noise.”

The editors of iTrends wrapped up their review with this statement: “Great design, great features, good performance, and a nicely quiet working sound level is the combination that creates success, and Thecus is clearly on the right track now.

Their modular system is constantly evolving so that the NAS server can be set up quite easily, making their solution unique in many areas: For example, their HDMI port that allows for the NAS server to be used as a media center directly.”
