The N5200XXX beat the competition and awed the judges with speed, functionality, and value
Bookmark and Share

10/17/2011Tweaktown got a hold of Thecus's N5200XXX NAS and had plenty of things to say. It is fast, well designed, and “refined”, among other things. It ended up earning a 92% and a “Must Have/Best Features Award”!

Thecus N5200XXX NASTweaktown was impressed at the overall quality: “Thecus has a history of evolving their products over time through software and firmware updates, but never before have I seen a NAS start out as refined as the new N5200XXX.”

The performance is staggeringly better than NAS with similar hardware: “When it came to file transfer performance, the Thecus N5200XXX was a winner as well. In many tests the N5200XXX simply outperformed the competition and in some cases was able to do so with almost twice the transfer speed. Given that both systems use components that are similar, this really goes to enforce the advanced state the N5200XXX is in even though the model was just released a few months ago.”
