08/01/2017 — Like last year, the European Hardware Association (EHA) conducted a detailed survey of 22 million readers of their magazines in May, asking them about their planned IT investments, their budget for that, and especially their NAS plans.

According to the EHA survey, European users plan to spend an average of 1300 euros on PC-related purchases over the next 12 months - and some of that money is also planned for network storage. As the EHA has found out, approximately 27% of the users already have a NAS and a third of them want to upgrade it, e.g. with more or bigger hard drives. Furthermore, around 19% of all survey participants want to buy a NAS for the first time, and for these users Thecus has just recently announced the new N2350 and N4350 – powerful, attractively priced and energy-efficient solutions especially for NAS novices.

Both the Thecus N2350 and the N4350 use a dual-core processor and 1 GB of DDR4 RAM, support 1-Gbit-Ethernet and remote access, e.g. via smartphone, are equipped with the user-friendly ThecusOS 7.0 and will soon be available at attractive prices.

The EHA is composed of nine independent European magazines from Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Poland and Romania, and is counting over 22 million readers combined.
