06/14/2017 –As genuine IT enthusiasts, the team at  Madshrimps bring the latest technology news to the readers. This time around, they set out to give their readers the lowdown on the Thecus N4810.
The N4810 is the 4-bay version of Thecus’ Multimedia series, allowing users to take full advantage of an array of hardware and functionality. The Thecus N4810 delivers solid performance at an attractive price point.
“The N4810 features low-power consumption thanks to the Intel Celeron N3160 Quad-Core SoC and comes equipped with 4GB of RAM DDR3L. The RAM is expandable to 8GB, we do have a frontal display with buttons for easy access, plenty of USB ports for connecting extra storage and/or printers, HDMI output with support up to 4K and can also perform 4K playback. “

The N4810 runs on the latest iteration of ThecusOS 7.0, which delivers users with an intuitive user interface.  “Besides the usual applications for backups, hosting websites, email services and so on, we can also work with media-center oriented applications such as Plex or KODI. KODI is running on the HDMI interface, and had no issues running our video test file.”

Overall, the Thecus N4810 earned the value award of Madshrimps due to its price-performance ratio.
We would like to thank Stefan and everyone else at MadShrimps for the review.
