Amazon Drive ceases its unlimited data storage plan
Bookmark and Share

06/13/2017 - Last week, Amazon announced they would discontinue their unlimited data storage deal with Amazon Drive. Users who do not start paying for one of their new plans will have 180 days to download or delete their data. Afterwards, Amazon will start deleting user’s content. By storing your digital data on a public cloud storage service, you run the risk of that corporation rising prices at a later date.

To prevent unexpected costs with your personal or business’ storage, the investment into a NAS solution is an attractive alternative. Though there is the initial investment, you can scale your capacity on your own terms. No data limits, and no extra monthly fees. NAS units allow you to store, protect, share and access data from anywhere, while keeping your digital information safely in your home or office.
