07/20/2016 – Thecus today announced the addition of Seagate's enormous IronWolf 10TB hard drives to its NAS compatibility list. Users of Thecus NAS can significantly increase their storage capacity now with this reliable and high-performance next-generation SATA 6Gb/s HDD.

Seagate® IronWolf™ drives are designed to be tough, ready and scalable, so they help to reduce downtime and ensure peak performance. Optimized for 1-to-8-bay NAS enclosures for home, SOHO and SMB use, IronWolf drives take advantage of AgileArray™ technology and Rotational Vibration (RV) sensors to help ensure reliability and agility. With up to 10TB capacity and user workload rates of 180 TB/year, IronWolf provides a powerful solution for any NAS.
The new Seagate IronWolf 10TB drive features advanced power management for increased power savings. Lighter in weight than the previous flagship 8TB NAS HDD, it maintains its high-speed performance while offering 25 percent more capacity.

“Yet again, Seagate leads the way in innovation leadership. We are happy to add Seagate’s latest IronWolf 10TB drives to the Thecus NAS lineup, and to provide our customers with new options to equip their NAS with the latest technology and increased power and capacity," said Florence Shih, General Manager at Thecus Technology Corp.
