“The Thecus N2810 does its job really well”
Bookmark and Share

04/15/2016-The German YouTube channel of ITRaidDE has regular reviews and presentations of new computer and technology products and now Simon has taken a look at the new Thecus N2810 NAS.

At first he explains the basic concept of a NAS and then shows the N2810 in detail. What about the Installation? “In Windows, Linux and MacOS X the NAS can simply be included as a network drive and can then be used like a normal hard drive.

Even the external access is demonstrated. “You can also access the NAS with a smartphone or tablet and various apps. Thecus has its own app, too, which I really like.

The ThecusOS 7.0 also leaves a good impression. “On this NAS Thecus uses his self-developed operating system – ThecusOS 7.0. The system is based on Linux and is very easy to use and clearly laid out.

And so it's no surprise that the conclusion is positive. “Overall a NAS like this is really useful and the Thecus N2810 does its job really well. It's well made, has enough connections and features and on the software side is clearly laid out and comprehensible.

I especially like the smartpone app and the app center of ThecusOS.

Thanks to Simon of ITRaidDEfor this video review.
