LAB501 is one of the largest IT media in East Europe. Apart from their reviews and forum, they are well known for their events, bringing to their FORUM community real products in order to touch and experience them with their own hands. For the latest LAB501 Community Workshop, their expert team chose Network-attached storage as the topic with Thecus as the NAS representative.

The event started with a short presentation of the NAS industry and the success Thecus has experienced over the 10-plus years of business. The chosen models for live demos were the N5810PRO and W4000+. Community members were very impressed by the powerful N5810PRO, its 5 LAN ports and its mini-UPS. On the other side of the spectrum of NAS, the Windows-based W4000+ did not disappointed with its unique set of features that sets it apart from traditional Linux-based NAS.

Participants were given an in depth look at what Thecus products are made of and how they are able to reach an array of users demands such as a media hub, file server, data back-up, and much more. Once back intact a live demo displayed the feature-rich platforms that both the Linux and Windows-based NAS had to provide.

Thanks to Mostru and Matei from LAB 501 for arranging everything and special thanks to Evomag for hosting the event.
