07/25/2014-Hi-Tech News in Russia, best known for focusing on popular technology, has just finished reviewing Thecus's 2-bay N2310. They stressed its ease of use, low price, and versatility of functions.

The review started with a description of the award-winning solution's hardware: “The core of the N2310's hardware is its AMCC APM 86491 processor clocked at 800 МHz and 512 MB of RAM. The system allows users to create RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD architectures... [and] interface ports available on the N2310 include USB ports (one 2.0 and one 3.0). There is also a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting the NAS to the network…” After this, the editor followed through all the setup steps, paying special attention to the most interesting functions, such as Thecus's app for Android and iOS phones.

With the N2310, users are also able to access their data across the web on their handheld device: “There is also a mobile app, T-OnTheGo, which with a proper setup allows you to download or upload both manually and automatically your documents, videos, and pictures from your iOS and Android smart phone or tablet to your NAS.”

At the end of the review, Hi-Tech News concluded their article by describing the various possible applications of the Thecus N2310: “So, if you want to buy a personal storage device capable of being a print server, automatic backup for your camera card, small FTP server, personal Dropbox available from any place in the world to automatically store your photos on, or if you simply love these kinds of gadgets, then the Thecus N2310 is ready to serve you.”
