“This device has everything an entry-level NAS user could wish for”
Bookmark and Share

06/09/2014-SlashGear is an American website dedicated to highlighting the latest and greatest in personal technology.  With the release of the Thecus N2310, this is what they have to say about this impressive piece of networking technology.

As a SOHO solution, SlashGear believes the N2310 is a great choice for NAS beginners. This device has everything an entry-level NAS user could wish for. Setting up your own personal cloud is simple, saving and accessing files went off without a hitch, and our entire experience was positive.

The device is, at the same time, a useful and efficient tool with a professional appearance: The team at Thecus have created a network-attached storage unit that's both extremely simple to set up and looks the part of a non-assuming piece of technology. While some NAS units looks like massive hunks of metal, this mostly-plastic unit looks plain, works simply, and does its job well.

Mobile Connection

Nowadays, an efficient mobile connection is essential. The Thecus N2310 provides that that with its comprehensive mobile app: With the official Thecus T-OnTheGo app, users are able to access files on this NAS from the web with their mobile device. This app worked flawlessly in our tests on Android and iOS.

Analysis Complete

So with a comprehensive understanding of the Thecus N2310, where does SlashGear place the capable little 2-bay compared to its competitors? “At right around (and often below) $150 USD, you'll have a hard time beating Thecus in the NAS market today.

Thanks to Chris Burns and the team at SlashGear.
