I can certainly appreciate that you took the time to port this for Thecus devices !

However, I go to launch it after installing it and the web page cannot be displayed. I re-installed it and stopped the service and ran it again to no avail. I clicked on the link after the service is started and it brings me to an index page and then there is a link to go to http://nas_ip:32400/manage and dies. Blank page.

Thecus N4100Pro firmware 5.03.01 with 1GB of memory.

It would be nice to get this going. I have seen Plex in action. I have to edit Twonky to get it working over a WAN and even then it does not do any transcoding and leaves it up to the target device.

This module is adated from synology package and is not fully optimized yet. But should run on your nas. The first launch is a bit long. But webui should display.

Thanks for your effort to bring Plex to the Thecus. However, I have the same problem as Pizzaman7. I installed the module on an N5200PRO, enabled it, and clicked on the "plex" link in the modules page... it took me to a page with a link to "http://NAS_IP:32400/manage". Unfortunately at that point my browser can't connect to the target page... error messages below:

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at NAS_IP:32400

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to NAS_IP:32400

Any help would be appreciated.

That's what I am experiencing. No matter what browser is used. I also logged off and go tried to go through the beginning home page and clicked on the modules and Plex was there but it brought me to the same index page as when I click on the link you see in your modules list. I get the "page cannot be displayed".

May be this just needs to be tweaked a bit.

It is awesome that someone is trying to deliver this for Thecus !
